This First Moments or "fresh 48" session was so special. For those who don't know, "fresh 48" is a photo session done within the first 48 hours of a baby's life - taken at their place of birth. It is a wonderful time to capture photos of siblings and other family members meeting the newest addition for the first time. In this case I came back in the morning after baby Jane's 3:33am birth (which I also photographed!) to capture some moments with her doting new big sister, Arlene, along with Auntie and Grandpa. It was one of the most heartwarming events I've ever photographed. Arlene was so immediately taken by her baby sister. She was singing songs and giving her lots of hugs and kisses.
