DOULA SERVICES
I have had the privilege of witnessing the sacred birth & postpartum time as a photographer and now I am thrilled to begin offering doula support along with my photo services to families in Portland, Oregon! See below for packages.
What is a postpartum doula and why should you hire one? I believe it is important for the birthing person and baby to have support that is beyond their partner or co-parent. This is because the family unit is undergoing its own profound shift and everyone in the unit greatly benefits from outside support - especially within the very tender first three months after birth aka fourth trimester. A postpartum doula is trained to tune into the unique needs of the recovering mother/birthing person, baby, and family. Each postpartum visit will address whatever pressing matters are at hand such as sleep and rest, feeding, emotional processing, home organization, meal prep, and more.
PACKAGES:
12 hours of Postpartum Support Plus Newborn Photo Session
- One prenatal meeting - virtual or in home (1 hour)
- Four Postpartum home visits (3hrs each)
- One in home newborn photo session (incorporated into the second or third postpartum visit)
- Additional help - $55/hr

- One prenatal meeting - virtual (1 hour)
- Two Postpartum home visits (3 hours and 4 hours)
- One in home newborn photo session (incorporated into the second postpartum visit)
